There Must Be Something Wrong!!

There must be something very wrong with me!! I have been madly cooking for the past two days. I am not someone that normally likes to cook, however this weekend, I have really been craving things that my Mum normally cooks for me!! So I have already cooked a slice, a cake and am now in the process of cooking a roast for dinner!! Oh my f**king god!! I am doing so well so far.

Mum is now here observing and I think that I may even be meeting her approval. I am seriously thinking of taking a picture of the end result to show everyone!!

Oh and I get lots of left overs for work tomorrow!! Yummy!!

What a week!!

Well what a week it has been!! I learnt last Friday that I was to be going in for surgery on Tuesday, so that didn't give me much notice, but I really didn't care, because I wanted to get the surgery over and done with.

Stuie came back last Friday night and so we had drinks at my Mum's place and even Stuie's Mum and sister came over too!! It was great to see Stuie's Mum, I love her and his little sister is just awesome!! Anyway so after a few drinks, I wasn't that pissed... (not like normal!! LOL) we got some really good photos!! I can't believe that Stuie tongued a girl!! And it was me!! HAHAHA Will post pics at the end of this blog.

The weekend went rather too quickly and then it was back to work for only one day and then it was off to surgery on Tuesday. I had the surgery done and was at my Nanna's by 3.30pm and was able to finally have a good sleep. My Nanna looked after me and even cooked one of my favourites for dinner, Lamb chops. Oh I ate the whole lot!!

I then had Wednesday off because apparently I wasn't allowed to go back to work. I think that I would have been pretty right to go back, but to be on the safe side I didn't. I was so bored at home though!!

Thursday I was back at work and boy was it good to be back there!! I really love my job and the people that I work with. I now have an adopted grandfather and an adopted sister. :-)

Last night I had a quiet night, and Princess Madds and I just hung around home.

Friends In Low Places

Well I decided to do a montage after seeing one on Rach's blog and above is the end result!! It took me all bloody afternoon and I am pretty happy with my effort.

I decided to call in friends in low places for two reasons. First being that I really like the song and second of all because alot of the photos involve me and mates having rather large drinks and looking as though we belong in low places!! LOL

Matchbox Twenty Concert

Oh s**t I am excited!! Found out last week that Matchbox Twenty were coming to Australia in April and was bummed that I was not going to be able to go to the Melbourne concert. However, my brother rang me the other day to say that they will be playing in Canberra. The next f**king hurdle I had to overcome was finding the money for it!! Well good ole Wendy has come to the rescue and is paying for Chris and I to go and see Matchbox Twenty in Canberra!! F**k I am excited!! I am buying the tickets on Friday lunch time and I can't wait. I last saw Matchbox Twenty when they came to Canberra for their first ever tour!! So another countdown begins!! Bring on April 25!!

And more to the point, bring on the hot Rob Thomas!! (I must say that I don't find him anywhere near as f**king hot as Chester, but he is all the same one hot hell of a fella!!)

So anyway that is my most exciting news at the moment!!
